Playoffs? Let’s Talk About Playoffs.

If you’re reading this, you are probably in the playoffs of your fantasy football league. Even if you’re in the losers bracket, perhaps this will provide you some value.

If you have a team filled with Detroit Lions at every position you are likely at or near the top of your league. You’re a certified homer, but who cares? You’re a winner.

Jared Goff is as steady as they come as the ninth highest ranked quarterback for the season, according to fantasypros.com. Jahmyr Gibbs is ranked third at running back, with David Montgomery ninth. Amon-Ra St. Brown is the third best wide receiver, and Jameson Williams is 26th after missing time. The Lions’ defense ranks seventh, while Jake Bates, at kicker, ranks fifth supporting Detroit’s high powered offense.

Looking forward, play your Lions. The real team still has plenty on the line and should keep starters involved. Even with a record of 12 wins and one loss, the Lions only edge the Vikings (11-2) by one game for the division lead. The Eagles (11-2) are likewise only one game back for the top seed in the conference.

With some luck, and matchups against Buffalo, Chicago and San Francisco as the fantasy football playoffs unfold, Lions players should continue to score among lead leaders and spearhead your championship aspirations.

Godspeed.
